What is an Established Artist?
If you are booking gigs, then likely you are an established artist. Established artists have typically spent years honing their craft, building a career, and growing a dedicated following in the music community. Longevity necessitates that they continue to refine their skills, expand their audience, and explore new inspirations and connections along their chosen pathway.
Committed to their craft and equipped with improved skills, they are in a better position to maintain monetary optimism and an evolving public persona.
The above description is, of course, a generalization, somewhat vague and highly subjective, but is the best description we could come up with.
What is an Emerging Artist?
Emerging artists come in all ages and are taking the first steps in their musical journey, working to launch themselves, build a following, and gain a foothold in the marketplace.
They need experience, perspective, connections, and visibility — and Winterfolk offers them a stage, an audience, promotion and media, and the chance to be heard.
It can be exciting to hear new talent, with fresh ideas, original sounds, and unique approaches opening a portal to the music of the future.
Depending on the annual available budget, we are unable to ensure remuneration for emerging artists at this time.
