Sue and Dwight

Sue and Dwight

Sue and Dwight’s music is honest and insightful with themes of peace, courage, and social justice. Rich harmonies are front and centre in their musical arrangements, supported by laid-back guitars and accordion.

  • Sue and Dwight have two CDs of original music, ‘Darling of The Open Stage’ and ‘Little Child Big World’, and a third to be released in 2016.
  • ’Little Child Big World’ shared #29 honours with Fred Eaglesmith and The Duhks on 2010 TOP CANADIAN ALBUMS list; airplay on U.S. folk radio stations.
  • Sue and Dwight created and host a monthly 60’s Folk Revival called Where Have All The Folk Songs Gone at The Free Times Cafe in Toronto.
Sue and Dwight were born too late to be part of the folk revival of the 1960’s but their music embodies the spirit of that time. Both are songwriters who write and perform compelling music and lyrics with themes of peace, courage, and social justice. At their live shows they share, without pretention, their stories of the prairies, life in the big city, and travels in East Africa, creating a warm and intimate atmosphere.
