Peter Verity is a routes songwriter and performer who never fails to deliver a heart-felt performance laced with poignancy and humour.
  • Winner of Best Folk Performer at the Toronto Independent Music Awards (TIMA) in 2005.
  • 1st runner up in the folk category in The John Lennon Songwriting Contest 2003.
Peter’s brand of original Canadian roots music wherein he sings and plays guitar, mandolin and harmonica has been spellbinding audiences from Vancouver Island to Newfoundland since the mid nineties. Along the way he has received awards from his peers and club owners alike in his quest to bring his music to people all over this country and further and while accolades and supportive quotes are necessary for any career to progress, his rapport and connection with his audience are the main reason why Peter continues on his musical journey.
