Danny Marks is a celebrated Canadian Musician and Media Host.

  • Host of BLUZ FM on JAZZ.FM91 and Cities in Blue on HIFI TV.
  • Holder of Lifetime Achievement “Blues With a Feeling” award from Toronto Blues Society.
A founding member of Edward Bear in the 1960’s, Danny spent many years in Toronto Clubs, from Alberts Hall to the Cadillac Lounge. He apprenticed at CBC radio with Arthur Black and Shelagh Rogers before landing his own program on JAZZ.FM. Danny’s albums Guitarchaeology, Big Town Boy and A Friend in the Blues have been written up in Billboard, Cashbox Canada, The Toronto Star, Globe & Mail, Toronto Sun, Exclaim, NOW, and Vintage Guitar Magazine. His new album Cities in Blue is available in 2016.
